A spacious plot of land near a hotel on Dayanand Marg has been selected for this purpose. After reviewing the land documents, the Construction and Design Services (C&DS) department will create the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the hostel. Earlier, plots near the airport and in Kalindipuram were surveyed, but they were deemed unsuitable for the project. As per reports two days ago, a large plot of land on Dayanand Marg was identified for the working women's hostel. The Municipal Corporation has sent a letter to the district administration requesting the necessary land documents to finalize the construction project. According to project director of C&DS Rohit Rana at least 4,600 square meters of land was required for the hostel's construction. In the currently identified land, its size was more than 4,600 square meters. "After reviewing the land documents, a DPR will be prepared and work will begin. The construction of a 120-bed hostel will cost approximately Rs 20 crore," he added. According to the project manager, Dayanand Marg was the best location for setting up a working women's hostel....
