Women's health, empowerment top priority of PM, UP CM: Pathak
LUCKNOW, Oct. 7 -- Local health administration with the support of Red Cross Society organised a discussion on 'Women Health Dimensions' under Mission Shakti campaign at IMA Building in Lucknow on Monday.
As many as 50 TB patients received nutrition kits.
Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, who was present as the chief guest, emphasised on women empowerment, anaemia prevention, and TB elimination, highlighting the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath in this regard.
Experts discussed adolescent health, anaemia, and osteoporosis prevention, stated a press release shared with the media.
Pathak stated that the Prime Minister prioritised women's health, launching initiatives for anaemia prevention, TB elimination, and overall well-being while the CM's Mission Shakti empowers women, ensuring their dignity and security. Pathak further said that the government identifies TB patients and ensures timely treatment and nutrition. He also thanked the Red Cross for its support.
CMO Dr NB Singh lauded CM Yogi for launching Mission Shakti in 2021 which promotes women's health, safety, and empowerment.
