PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 9 -- A woman's death has created quite a stir in Mohabbatpur Jeeta village in Kada Dham area of Kaushambi district as, due to the unavailability of a vehicle, two youths transported her mortal remains on a motorcycle to the Sato Ghat cremation ground. A video of the incident went viral on social media. Samajwadi Party president and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav shared the video on social media. "What could be more shameful than this? I have nothing to say- not to the Chief Minister, not to the Health Minister," he wrote. Meanwhile, district magistrate Madhusudan Hulgi has launched an official inquiry. "Concerned officials have been instructed to submit a detailed report on the entire incident at the earliest following which further action, if any, would be taken," he said. The 47-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances on Saturday night. Her brother-in-law informed the police that she had died by suicide. However, the postmortem report made no such mention, and her viscera has been preserved for further investigation. Following the postmortem on Sunday, disputes arose between her in-laws and her maternal family regarding the funeral. The cremation was to take place at Sato Ghat, and relatives were waiting for a tractor to transport the body. When the vehicle couldn't be arranged, two youths from Kura village (deceased's maternal village) placed the body on a motorcycle and headed to the cremation ground.htc...
