LUCKNOW, Nov. 11 -- The body of a 19-year-old woman student of a private college was found hanging at her hostel room in Lucknow's Chinhat area on Monday afternoon. The student was a native of Jaunpur. According to police, around 3:30 pm, the Chinhat police received information from Lohia Hospital about the student's death. Preliminary investigation revealed that the student had locked her room from inside. Other hostellers knocked on the door and, on receiving no response, alerted the hostel staff, who broke open the door and found her hanging. She was rushed to Lohia Hospital, where doctors declared her "brought dead". Inspector Dinesh Chandra Mishra said no suicide note was recovered from the room. "A forensic team examined the scene, and police have informed the family," he added....
