VARANASI, Jan. 9 -- Varanasi police on Thursday, arrested a woman from Haryana for her alleged involvement in duping a trader of Rs 35 lakh. The accused identified as Richa Bhargava, a resident of Kashi, was arrested on the complaint lodged by the trader and a case was registered on the basis of the complaint. The police tracked the woman's location through surveillance, and a team from Varanasi apprehended her. Cash, fake documents, and counterfeit bill vouchers were recovered from her possession. After her arrest on Thursday, she was brought to Varanasi. The accused was then produced in court in the related case, where the Chief Judicial Magistrate sent her to jail. Police are taking further action in the matter. DCP Crime Sarvanan T said that a team of police has arrested Richa Bhargava from Sonipat, Haryana, in connection with a fraud of Rs.35 lakh. She was also wanted in six cases registered against her at the Chowk police station in connection with allegedly defrauding Varanasi traders of Rs.10 crore. The DCP said, the woman is accused of ordering goods using false business documents and then absconding at the time of payment. According to the DCP, her husband, Sharad Bhargava, has already been sent to jail....
