PRAYAGRAJ, May 20 -- A woman gram pradhan of Rampur Suhela village under Kokhraj police station area in Kaushambi allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train near Bharwari railway gate on Monday afternoon. The woman was upset after a dispute with sister-in-law. Police have sent the body for postmortem and enquired about the cause of the extreme step from family members of the deceased. As per reports, the 38-year-old woman had defeated her rival by a significant margin in the election of Gram Pradhan recently. As per reports, on Monday morning, she had an argument with her sister-in-law over some issue. It is being alleged that she was very upset after the dispute. On Monday afternoon, the woman suddenly left the house and reached Bharwari railway gate. Before the people around could understand anything, she jumped in front of a speeding train and died on the spot. A large number of village residents gathered after hearing about the incident.
