PRAYAGRAJ, March 6 -- A woman who left home after a quarrel with her husband on Holi, accidentally fell into a dry well on Wednesday evening in Sadar Kotwali area of Pratapgarh. She was rescued by villagers with the assistance of police and later admitted to medical college. Police said Rajesh Kumar, from Kadipur, had an argument with his wife Babli. An upset Babli left home and began walking to her cousin's house in Chhota Lalapur. Around 7 pm, while passing near Giriya Khalsa, she slipped in the darkness and fell into a dry well. Her cries for help were heard by passersby who used their mobile phone flashlights to look inside and discovered her trapped. A police team with the help of villagers, managed to pull Babli out safely. SHO Vikas Singh said initial inquiry suggests a domestic dispute led to the incident. "The woman has been questioned.
