Woman alleges molestation attempt, assault; police await formal complaint
LUCKNOW, May 11 -- Police on Sunday said they are awaiting a formal complaint from a woman who alleged that a group of men attempted to molest her and assaulted her in Lucknow's Chinhat area late Saturday night.
The clarification came after social media posts describing the incident as a gangrape began circulating online.
