LUCKNOW, Sept. 6 -- Several actors, musicians and singers of Uttar Pradesh, who went to Mumbai to work in films, have returned home as there are no shoots and no money for food and rent of flats.

Things have come to such a pass in Bollywood because of the coronavirus disease, which has affected almost all sectors.

With life gone topsy-turvy, these artistes are in a fix and don't know what to do.

Uttar Pradesh Kalakar Association general secretary Vinod Mishra, who is concerned over the sad development, said, "We have helped over 40 artistes who migrated back during the pandemic with money. Besides, I have started making a data bank of such artistes to provide further help."
