Lucknow, Oct. 13 -- The minimum temperature in the state capital dropped below 20 degrees Celsius on Sunday, settling at 18.2degC, which was 3.2 degrees below normal. According to the IMD bulletin, Kanpur City recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 14.8degC, which was 5.2 degrees below normal. The forecast for Lucknow indicates a sunny day with a clear sky and mist during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 32degC and 19degC, respectively. In nearby districts, Barabanki recorded a minimum of 16degC, Etawah 16.2degC, Bahraich 17.4degC, Bareilly 17.5degC, and Muzaffarnagar 18.1degC. With dry conditions expected to continue, the withdrawal of the monsoon from the remaining parts of the state is likely within the next 24 hours, the IMD stated.
