Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- As Bihar, a dry state, readies for its assembly elections, liquor smugglers seem to be stepping up their game. On Thursday, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) seized a parcel at Varanasi Junction under the Lucknow Division, booked as "pickles" for Patna, which actually contained 283 bottles of whisky. The consignment - 16 packages labelled as 32 tins of pickles - was caught during a routine X-ray scan, officials said.
