Wellness tourism hub to come up near DNP
LUCKNOW, Nov. 14 -- Uttar Pradesh is set to enhance its ecotourism landscape with the launch of a modern wellness tourism hub near Dudhwa National Park in Lakhimpur Kheri. The state government will develop the hub on five acres in Chandan Chowki village, combining well-being, luxury, and sustainability amid the scenic Terai forests.
An agreement for the operation and maintenance of the project was signed on Thursday between the UP eco tourism development board and BVG India Ltd. The signing took place in the presence of director general tourism Rajesh Kumar, director (Eco-Tourism) Pushp Kumar K, and BVG India's chief growth officer Jitendra Walia.
The hub will feature luxury cottages, yoga and meditation zones, and outdoor fitness and recreation areas, offering visitors a serene escape amid Dudhwa's pristine wilderness. The project aims to attract both domestic and international travellers.
