Watchman trampled to death by bull
PRAYAGRAJ, May 11 -- A 65-year-old orchard watchman died after being attacked by a bull in Kamangalpur village under Saini police station limits in Kaushambi district on Saturday morning. The victim, identified as Jagan Saroj, a resident of Sukhdharpur Kithawan village in the Kada Dham police station area, was guarding a mango orchard when he noticed a bull inside the premises.
According to police and eyewitness accounts, the bull was eating fallen mangoes and using its horns to shake a tree for more fruit.
As Jagan attempted to drive the bull out of the orchard, it turned aggressive and charged at him. In a bid to escape, Jagan tried to climb a tree but failed. The bull overpowered him, trampling and injuring him severely.
Locals working nearby rushed to the spot after hearing his cries and managed to chase the bull away. Jagan was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where doctors pronounced him dead....
