Lucknow, Feb. 15 -- Minister for parliamentary affairs Suresh Khanna on Friday admitted that the prices of minor minerals (morang and baalu), used as building material, had gone up by 10 to 15 percent in recent times. The minister made the statement in the state assembly even as the Samajwadi Party and the Congress members staged a walkout alleging an unsatisfactory reply by the state government on the issue. Dubbing the BJP government as anti-people, leader of opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary said instead of talking about increase in revenue, the minister should inform the house about the increase in prices of minor minerals (morang and baalu) etc.
