Varanasi, May 30 -- The Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan was launched in Varanasi on Thursday, with the aim of spreading awareness among farmers about various government schemes. The campaign will run from May 29 to June 12 and reach farmers across several villages through three expert teams. These teams, made up of agricultural experts and officials from the agriculture department, will visit nine gram panchayats each day. They will provide information on schemes related to agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture, fisheries, cooperative departments, and crop insurance. Farmers' feedback will also be collected by scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra and the Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR)....
