Rudrapur, June 2 -- A 36-year-old man was arrestwed for allegedly killing his 32-year-old wife at Jaspur in US Nagar on Saturday night, as he suspected that she was having an extramarital relationship, police officers aware of the matter said on Sunday. The accused was identified as Rahul Kashyap, 36, a resident of Maduakhera village, 3 km from Jaspur, who had married Neema Devi from Rehar in UP's Bijnor district 10 years ago. He used to work at a sweet shop while Neema worked in a factory, they added. "The accused suspected his wife of having an extramarital relationship. Both got into a heated exchange, and the man in a fit of rage hit her with a brick and later stabbed her to death," said Jagdish Dhakariyal, inspector, Jaspur police station on Sunday.
