UPW aim to finish WPL season on a victory note
LUCKNOW, March 8 -- Hosts UP Warriorz would be hoping to finish off their WPL season with a win when they take on Royal Challengers Bangaluru in their last league match, at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium here on Saturday. With just four points in as many as seven matches, Deepti Sharma-led UP Warriorz are almost out of the playoff especially after losing their penultimate game to Mumbai Indians by six wickets here on Thursday. On the contrary, RCB, even with four points in six matches, still have a chance to make it to the playoffs as they have two outings to play. In contrast to UPW's two wins and five losses so far, RCB too have two wins and three loses, besides a loss to the UPW in Super Over on their home turf at Bengaluru. And their match on Saturday will be an opportunity for the RCB to take revenge of their loss to UPW....
