UPSTDC launches spl tour packages for participants
LUCKNOW, Nov. 23 -- As preparations are underway to welcome over 35,000 Scouts and Guides from India and abroad for the 19th National Jamboree, the UP State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has released two special tour packages for Lucknow and Ayodhya.
These tour packages will provide a safe and memorable travel experience for the youth, according to Jaiveer Singh, minister of tourism and culture, UP.
The first package developed by the UPSTDC, "Lucknow Darshan," offers Jamboree participants a unique opportunity to experience the Nawabi culture, unique architecture, and rich craft traditions. This package is designed to provide a closer experience of Lucknow, recently recognised as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, its heritage, the city's streets and its craftsmanship. Participants will be taken on a tour of the city's ancient heritage sites: the Residency, the Bada Imambara, the Bhool Bhulaiya, the Rumi Darwaza, the Chhota Imambara, the Picture Gallery, and Chowk Bazaar.
The Lucknow Darshan package includes guided tours, refreshments, and comfortable transportation available at Rs.500 per participant.
UPSTDC's second package is Ayodhya Darshan, allowing participants to experience the faith, culture and heritage of Ayodhya. From the sacred aura of Hanumangarhi to the divine serenity of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the enchanting beauty of Kanak Bhawan, the enchanting streams of Ram Ki Paidi, and the ancient beauty of the Nageshwarnath Temple, everything is included in one package.
