UPSIDA invests Rs 31 cr to modernise Amausi Industrial Area
LUCKNOW, Aug. 22 -- The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is carrying out civil infrastructure works worth Rs 31 crore to upgrade the Amausi Industrial Area in the state capital. The projects aim to improve the ease of doing business and provide modern facilities for industries, workers, and visitors.
Mayur Maheshwari, chief executive officer of UPSIDA, said: "In line with the industrial vision of the state government, UPSIDA is swiftly executing various civil infrastructure projects in the Amausi Industrial Area. Our objective is to provide investors with a streamlined, accessible, and modern industrial ecosystem, making Uttar Pradesh a leader in ease of doing business."
The development plan includes a Shramik Sewa Kendra, vending zone, truck lay-by areas, cafeteria, public toilets, and dormitories for workers and staff.
The projects in progress include road and drainage upgrades for Rs 12 crore, construction of a road using FDR technology worth Rs 6 crore, an integrated command centre, police outpost, and EV charging station for Rs 3.4 crore, along with street furniture, signage, nesting huts, and firefighting systems costing Rs 1.2 crore.
Among the upcoming works are horticulture and landscaping projects worth Rs 1.5 crore, installation of interlocking tiles for road widening costing Rs 2.2 crore, a new drain at Rs 2.6 crore, and construction of a new entry gate valued at Rs 0.5 crore.
