Lucknow, Nov. 3 -- UPPCL chairman Ashish Kumar Goel said providing efficient and prompt services to electricity consumers is a top priority under the Urban Restructure Plan. He was reviewing progress and inspecting consumer help desks in Saharanpur on Sunday. Accompanied by PVVNL managing director Ravish Gupta, Goel visited the helpdesk at Ghantaghar and reviewed grievance redressal arrangements. A meeting at the regional office in Shakumbhari Vihar discussed improving consumer services, power supply, and grievance resolution through the 1912 helpline. The plan will be implemented in Saharanpur from November 15, 2025. Four helpdesks will operate in Saharanpur at Ghantaghar, ITI, Mandi Samiti, and Janak Nagar, each with a nodal officer and designated mobile contact for quick grievance redressal.
