LUCKNOW, Sept. 30 -- The UPNEDA stall from the energy department and the AMRUT 2.0 stall from the urban development department were jointly awarded the Best Stall Award at the International Trade Fair-2025, highlighting the state's progress and innovative initiatives in these sectors. Acknowledging the recognition, minister for energy and urban development, AK Sharma said, "The achievement is a testament to Uttar Pradesh's dynamic policies, innovation-driven governance, and commitment to sustainable development, guided by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of chief minister Yogi Adityanath." Speaking on UPNEDA's performance, he noted that Uttar Pradesh had emerged as the national leader in solar energy installations. Landmark accomplishments include- Ayodhya being developed as India's first solar city, highest number of solar-powered tube wells for farmers, top position in solar rooftop installations under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. The UPNEDA stall showcased the department's key schemes, achievements, and innovations aimed at transforming Uttar Pradesh into a green energy state.
