LUCKNOW, May 20 -- The Uttar Pradesh Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (UPBFA) on Monday resolved to promote bodybuilding in Uttar Pradesh in a bigger way, by supporting activities as well as athletes in the next four years. Newly elected president of the UPBFA Sajid Ahmed Qureshi said that sporting body was committed for the development of sports and its athletes in a bigger way. "We are targeting many activities in the near future so that we can create a strong pool of talents in the state," said Qureshi while addressing the special general body meeting of the sporting body. The meeting was attended by district presidents and general secretaries from 40 districts. Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association's secretary-general Anandeshwar Pandey attended the meeting as a special invitee. Vikram Rothe, legal advisor of Indian Bodybuilders Federation, World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, along with the entire executive body, was also present at the meeting. Besides electing Qureshi as chief of the state body for the next four years, the special general meeting also elected Jatin Verma as executive director, Vishwas Rao as secretary general, Vipul Singh as vice president and Firoz Khan as treasurer....
