LUCKNOW, Nov. 11 -- Uttar Pradesh stood first in the country by securing the highest number of registrations for the India Skills Competition 2025, a spokesperson said. In continuation of the remarkable achievement, a high-level meeting of the mission-level committee was organized on Monday at the Skill Development Mission headquarters under mission director Pulkit Khare. The objective was to strengthen the strategy for continuous review, training and mentoring of the registered youth and ensure their participation at the state, national and international levels. Khare discussed the detailed action plan and effective strategies for the successful execution of the India Skills Competition 2025. He emphasised that strong coordination should be maintained with participants selected from various districts and that the capabilities of youth should be enhanced to meet national and international standards through the involvement of experienced trainers, subject experts, and industrial institutions. He said special focus be given to skill trials at district and divisional levels, selection and evaluation processes and continuous mentoring and motivation of participants. He said that transparency, impartiality, competitiveness, and quality must remain the top priorities at every stage of the competition so that the youth of Uttar Pradesh can showcase their talent and bring laurels to the state and the nation. Committee members deliberated in detail on various aspects such as skill training, competition management, evaluation systems, and strategies to maintain participants' morale. The mission director emphasised that continuous progress reviews must be ensured and that the quality of training should be given utmost attention.
