Lucknow, March 13 -- As various departments race against time to use the budgetary funds before end of the financial year (2025-2026), the state government has set a timeline for all last-minute clearances and submission of the bills to the treasury on March 31, 2026. Additional chief secretary finance Deepak Kumar, giving the timeline to various departments, said the drawing and disbursement officers (DDOs), who fail to submit the bills to treasuries by March 25, 2026, should do so latest by 3pm on March 31, 2026. He said the respective treasury should grant transaction approval by 5pm on the same day. He said no payment files would be uploaded on e-Kuber platform after 10pm. Kumar said the administrative departments and budget control officers should issue the financial sanctions latest by March 15, 2026 to ensure that they reach the DDOs by March 20, 2026.
