LUCKNOW, Sept. 17 -- Uttar Pradesh's star shuttler Mansi Singh got off to a flying start, defeating qualifier Madhumita Narayan of Maharashtra 21-2, 21-14 in the women's singles of the All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament, at the UP Badminton Academy here on Tuesday. Now, Mansi will face Kerala's Pavitra Naveen in the next round, who defeated Tanisha Singh of Rajasthan 21-10, 21-13. In women's singles, 13th seed Amolika Singh of UP had to struggle a lot to register a win against the qualifier. In men's singles, UP's Rajan Yadav and qualifier Ansh Vishal Gupta also reached the next round.
