LUCKNOW, Dec. 24 -- The UP Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed various bills, including UP Rural Abadi Records Bill-2025, UP Education Service Selection Commission (Amendment) Bill-2025, UP Private Universities (Third Amendment), Bill, 2025, UP Private Universities (Fourth Amendment), Bill-2025, UP Private Universities (Fifth Amendment), Bill, 2025, UP Entitlement to Pension and Validation Bill, 2025, UP Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2025, UP Sugarcane Cess (Repeal) Bill, 2025, King George's Medical University, Uttar Pradesh, (Amendment), Bill, 2025 and UP Sugamya Vyapar (Pravdhaano ka Sanshodhan) Bill, 2025. Culture and tourism minister Jaivir Singh said UP Rural Abadi Records Bill will ensure proper provisions for transfer, amendment or updation due to inheritance/succession and sale of ownership records of rural 'abadi' areas. UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana on Tuesday said officers of the departments concerned should be present in the House when issues related to their department are under discussion (or a Bill is tabled).
