Lucknow, Sept. 28 -- UP RERA on Saturday approved 21 projects worth Rs 7,035 crore at its 184th meeting. These projects will deliver 10,866 units, spanning residential apartments, villas, plotted developments, and commercial spaces. UP RERA chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy presided over the meeting at the Real Estate Regulatory Authority or RERA office in the state capital. The meeting was attended by senior officials and domain experts of the regulatory authority. The projects are spread across several key urban centres as well as emerging regions, underlining the widening reach of real estate growth in the state. While established hubs such as Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Mathura, Agra, Bareilly, and Varanasi continue to dominate, newer districts like Barabanki are fast emerging on the state's real estate map. The 10,866 units approved under these 21 projects will significantly expand the state's housing supply, it said. A dedicated share of housing units will be earmarked for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), added UP RERA. "The approval of 21 projects adding nearly 11,000 new units highlights the momentum of real estate growth in Uttar Pradesh. With investments of about Rs 7,035 crore, these developments will meet housing needs across diverse income groups and also create significant economic opportunities for the state," said Bhoosreddy....
