Lucknow, Nov. 5 -- Lucknow district has achieved a major milestone by securing the first position in the Lucknow division and fourth place in Uttar Pradesh in the latest health dashboard rankings released by the health department. Lucknow chief medical officer (CMO) Dr N B Singh congratulated all medical and health officials and employees for their collective efforts, emphasising that the ranking is released every month and reflects ongoing progress in public health services. According to data available in the latest report, Prayagraj, Auraiya, and Hathras have claimed the top three positions in the state. Lucknow's strong performance is attributed to high scores across multiple health indicators, including prenatal check-ups, full immunisation, and family planning measures. The district achieved 100% marks in full immunisation and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) testing during pregnancy, highlighting its commitment to maternal and child health. Within the division, Mohanlalganj block stood out by securing the first position.
