Lucknow, Feb. 17 -- A state-level control room will be inaugurated by Gulab Devi, minister of state (independent charge), department of secondary education, on Tuesday. This control room will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, timely, and transparent UP Board examination operations. The examinations get underway on February 18.During the examination period, the control room will monitor districts, provide prompt information exchange, and issue necessary guidelines to ensure that examinations are conducted in a peaceful and fair environment. The 2026 High School and Intermediate Board Examinations, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Prayagraj, will continue until March 12. Mahendra Dev, director, secondary education, said that to curb cheating in examinations and ensure quality and reliability, a state-level control room has been established at the camp office of the director of education (secondary), at Park Road, Lucknow. Online monitoring and regular review will be conducted through this control room throughout the examination period....
