PRAYAGRAJ, July 27 -- Around 94% of the total registered students for UP Board's High School and Intermediate compartment and improvement examinations-2025 took the test across the state on Saturday. The exams were held in two shifts and no untoward incident was reported from any district, said UP Board officials. A total of 46,391 students were registered for the exams, of which 43,510 appeared, while 2,881 were absent. The HS examination was held in the first shift from 8.30 am to 11.45 am, where 19,150 out of 20,768 candidates (92.21%) were present. The Intermediate examination took place in the second shift from 2pm to 5.15pm, with 24,360 out of 25,623 students (95.07%) attending, said UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh.
