UP ANTF attaches Rs.2.8 cr assets of interstate drug traffickers
LUCKNOW, Dec. 11 -- Uttar Pradesh's Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has attached assets worth Rs 2.8 crore linked to interstate drug traffickers operating across Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, according to a press note from police here on Wednesday.
The attachment orders have been confirmed by the competent authority under SAFEM(FOP) A & NDPS, New Delhi. The Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976, allows the government to seize properties acquired through illegal activities. The action involves two NDPS cases. Muslam Khan of Hodal, Haryana, arrested on August 1, 2025, allegedly transported doda (poppy husk) from Bihar to Haryana. Similarly, Naushad of Shamli, arrested on June 16, 2025, was allegedly sourcing doda from Rajasthan and MP for sale....
