India, Dec. 31 -- Celebrated for its rich Awadhi cuisine and flavours, Lucknow, after Hyderabad, became the only Indian city to earn the title of UNESCO City of Gastronomy. The title was awarded on World Cities Day on October 31, months after Lucknow's nomination in June. On October 31, UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) admitted 58 cities, including Lucknow, as new members of the network for their wide range of delicious food.
