Lucknow, May 22 -- Minister of state for cooperation (independent charge), JPS Rathore, said on Wednesday that the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has authorised Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank Limited to make Aadhaar cards. Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank Ltd. is the first cooperative bank in the country to be nominated as an agency to make Aadhaar Cards. The work of Aadhaar Card is highly sensitive, Aadhaar Card is strong evidence of the unique and authentic identity of the citizens of India.
