LUCKNOW, May 26 -- Lake Udhaila in Ayodhya is being developed as an eco-tourism site. The lake in Milkipur tehsil, which once struggled with encroachment and water scarcity, will now be a major tourist attraction. The lake is being developed with a budget of Rs 3.81 crore, which includes construction of cafes, toilet blocks, and bamboo cottages, said the Ayodhya administration on Sunday. The site will provide a comfortable and environmentally-friendly experience for tourists, according to the tourism department. The project is expected to boost tourism in Ayodhya, which has seen a significant increase in tourist footfall after the construction of the Ram Temple and the Deepotsav celebrations.
