U.P. to fill 1,200 teaching posts in medical colleges
LUCKNOW, Jan. 5 -- The state medical education department will recruit nearly 1,200 medical teachers for government medical colleges, according to a government press statement issued on Sunday.
The posts comprise about 1,112 assistant professors, 44 professors and 11 lecturers (pharmacy).
Additional chief secretary, health and medical education, Amit Kumar Ghosh, said requisitions for recruitment to the posts have been sent to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj, for selection.
Advertisements for these posts will be issued soon, he informed.
Additionally, appointment letters will soon be distributed to 1,230 nursing officers (female and male) selected through the UPPSC, Prayagraj....
