U.P. schools now offeringworld-class facilities, says Adityanath
LUCKNOW, March 19 -- Children from economically weaker families in Uttar Pradesh are now gaining access to schools with improved, near world-class infrastructure, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday, highlighting the state government's push to transform the education sector.
Speaking at Lok Bhavan while releasing a book titled 'Nav Nirman Ke 9 Varsh', the chief minister said initiatives such as Operation Kayakalp, along with efforts to promote Sanskrit education, have marked the beginning of a new chapter of prosperity in the state.
"Along with this, a new lodging and meal scheme for students studying Sanskrit will further enhance the state's progress," he added.
Pointing out that Atal Residential Schools have emerged as a model for inclusive and quality education, Yogi said that on similar lines, the government is expanding Chief Minister Composite Schools across districts in a phased manner."In the first phase, two schools per district were established last year, and preparations are underway to establish two more this year.
