Lucknow, May 7 -- Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture minister Jaiveer Singh has said the state is poised to become a hub for MICE Tourism-Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions-amidst its industrial growth and expanding startup ecosystem. This blend of business and leisure travel is gaining traction across India. "UP is emerging as a key MICE destination, offering a rich mix of heritage, hospitality, and modern infrastructure," Singh said. He highlighted that iconic hotels and venues across major cities are making the state ideal for corporate events and retreats. Once known primarily for its religious and historical appeal, Uttar Pradesh is now embracing business tourism. Cities like Agra, Noida, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Ayodhya are driving this shift with distinct strengths.
