LUCKNOW, July 19 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has approved a proposal to provide Rs.104.90 crore in incentives to five companies established in different districts of the state. Industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi gave his nod to the proposal, which aims to boost investment and economic growth in U.P. Under the Industrial Investment Promotion Scheme, the minister also approved an interest-free loan of over Rs.7.09 crore for two companies.The state government has announced specific policies under Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Scheme Policy to encourage investors.
