PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 9 -- Pratapgarh witnessed two tragic accidents in the last 24 hours, claiming the lives of two young men. In the first incident, 26-year-old Dheeraj Prajapati, a private employee employed in Delhi, died after a road accident on the Ayodhya-Prayagraj highway, near Kusumi Railway Crossing. In a separate accident, 22-year-old Aryan Patel, also known as Golu, died while ploughing a field in Khaira Pura Chemi village of Lalganj. Aryan was driving a tractor in a neighbour's field on Friday night when a sudden jerk caused him to fall beneath the vehicle. He was crushed under the tractor's wheels and died on the spot.
