LUCKNOW, Oct. 4 -- An SUV collided with a private school van on Friday morning in Mahanagar, leaving two school girls injured, police said. The accident occurred around 8:00 am on the route connecting Neera Hospital and Midland Hospital. ACP Mahanagar Ankit Kumar confirmed that the van driver filed a complaint against the SUV driver, alleging a confrontation after the collision. "We are examining CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts to investigate the matter further," he said. The van was carrying nine children when the collision took place. Two girls, aged 15 and 13, suffered minor injuries and were rushed to Bhaurao Deoras Hospital in Mahanagar for treatment. Their families were present during medical care. The remaining seven children were safe and handed over to their families at the scene. Kumar said that out of the two injured girls only one has faced fractures.
