MEERUT, June 25 -- Two people were killed after their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle near the Badkala flyover on the Chhutmalpur bypass in Saharanpur's Fatehpur police station area on Monday night. The victims were on their way from Dehradun to Saharanpur. According to police, the deceased have been identified as 48-year-old Suresh Saini, a resident of Antee village under Khatauli police station, and 35-year-old Vedpal Saini, from Tissa village under Bhopa police station in Muzaffarnagar district. Following the collision, their bodies were found lying on the road. A passerby immediately alerted the Chamarikheda police outpost, after which police teams rushed to the spot, took custody of the bodies, and initiated preliminary proceedings. Fatehpur police stated that no official complaint or FIR has been lodged so far. "A case will be registered as soon as we receive a written complaint.
