Two held for sharing Umesh Pal murder video with controversial song
PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 13 -- A song used alongside a video related to the Umesh Pal murder case has landed two youths from Pratapgarh in trouble.
The 32-second video appears to challenge the police administration. A photograph of Ali, son of mafia leader Atiq Ahmed, has also been included in the video clip. Taking cognizance of the video, which went viral on social media, police swung into action and arrested two youths-one from Pratapgarh and another from the Mauaima area of Prayagraj.
The police questioned them about the source of the video. Legal action is currently being pursued against the accused. Some individuals had lodged a complaint with Prayagraj Police via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, alleging that a controversial song had been used with the video of the Umesh Pal murder incident on social media. The video depicted the daylight shooting of Umesh Pal and his two gunmen on February 24, 2023. The background featured the song "System System Sab Kare, System Apne Adhin Hai." A photograph of Ali, who was recently shifted from Naini to Jhansi jail, was also embedded in the video.
Following the complaint, Prayagraj police launched an investigation and found the matter to be true. Dhoomanganj police arrested Atishaan, a resident of Kusahildih under Manikpur police station in Pratapgarh, for posting the video on his Instagram status. SHO of Dhoomanganj police station, Amarnath Rai, confirmed that legal action was taken against him on Sunday, and he was sent to jail.
Meanwhile, Mauaima police arrested Gayasuddin, a resident of Bahrana Mohalla. According to police, he had also posted a video related to the Umesh Pal murder case along with the controversial song on social media.HTC...
