Two friends die in bike crash
Agra, June 25 -- Two 25-year-old friends died after their new motorcycle collided with an electric pole and caught fire near Hathi Baba Ashram on Vrindavan Road, under Mant police station limits in Mathura late Monday night. Both were charred to death in the tragic incident.
"Two bodies were found badly burnt alongside a new motorcycle without a registration number near Hathi Baba Ashram on Vrindavan Road around 1am on Tuesday.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem," said Garima Singh, circle officer of Mant circle.
The victims were identified later in the day as Lakhan and Bhappa, both residents of Jahangirpur village in Mathura district.
According to Mant police station in-charge Jasveer Singh, both victims were rushed to the Community Health Centre, where doctors declared them dead.
Circle officer Garima Singh ruled out foul play, stating that the incident appears to be an accident caused by rash driving....
