PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 12 -- A youth and a married woman allegedly committed suicide in city area in two separate incidents on Monday. In both the cases no suicide note was recovered. As per reports, a youth, working as a pharmacist in a private hospital, allegedly committed suicide in Umarpur Niva area under Dhoomanganj police station on Monday afternoon. The reason for the suicide could not be ascertained as no suicide note was found. Three empty beer cans were found inside the room. On receiving information Dhoomanganj police reached the house and sent the body for postmortem. According to family members of the deceased, he left home to go to the hospital at around 9am on Monday. However, instead of going for duty, he reached another house owned by his father in Preetam Nagar locality and hanged himself with a towel from a fan in a room on the upper floor of the house. Niva police outpost in-charge Manish Rai informed that family members could not tell the reason for the suicide. The body has been sent for postmortem. Meanwhile, in another incident, a married woman allegedly hanged herself inside her house in Chakniratul under Khuldabad police station area. According to police, the woman was married to a teacher of a private school, about six years ago. The couple has a five-year-old son. During interrogation, the family members informed police that she was having a normal conversation with her husband and sister-in-law on Sunday night when there was some conversation over the mobile. After this, the woman went inside her room and ended her life. However, the family members said they had no idea that she would take the drastic step. SHO of Khuldabad police station Surendra Verma said that no complaint has been filed by the deceased's family members.
