LUCKNOW, May 14 -- Two policemen have been placed under suspension for allegedly facilitating the sale of ganja (cannabis) and shielding drug traffickers, authorities said. The order for the suspension of Qaiserbagh SHO Sunil Singh and Ghasiyari Mandi outpost incharge Vijay Yadav was issued late on Monday night by Deputy commissioner of police (west) Vishwajeet Srivastava under the direction of commissioner of police Amrendra Kumar Sengar. Later on Tuesday, the DCP reshuffled incharges of three outposts under the Qaiserbagh police station. However, the senior officer insisted that it was a routine reshuffle.
