Haridwar, May 28 -- Two unidentified assailants trespassed into a private hospital building and attacked the hospital owner in the Laksar area of Haridwar, police said on Tuesday, adding that a search has been initiated for the accused. According to an officer, the incident occurred at around 3 am on Tuesday at Aryan Hospital, located on the Laksar-Roorkee road. "The hospital's owner, Dr Babu Ram Arya (57), sustained serious injuries after the assailants assaulted him and struck his head with a blunt object. The attack took place when Dr Arya was returning to his room after checking on admitted patients. He reportedly spotted one of the intruders in the hospital lobby and, as he attempted to raise an alarm, the second assailant attacked him from behind," the officer said....
