Haridwar, May 24 -- Haridwar police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a 31-year-old e-rickshaw driver whose body was found wrapped in a tarpaulin on the Saliyar-Manglaur highway on May 18, police officers said on Friday.
According to Haridwar SSP Pramendra Dobhal, a case was registered at Gangnahar Police Station on May 18 after the body of the victim, Munna Chand, a resident of Sunehra village in Roorkee's Gangnahar area, was recovered from the roadside. "During probe, police found that two batteries from the man's e-rickshaw were missing, suggesting robbery as a motive for the murder," said Dobhal. htc...
