Trust to seek Ram temple verdict evidence, documents from SC
Ayodhya, Dec. 15 -- The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will request the Supreme Court to release the historical evidence and documents on the basis of which the court delivered its verdict in favour of the Ram temple in 2019.
"The Ram Mandir Trust will write a formal letter to the court requesting to hand over the Ram temple evidence documents," Ram temple construction committee chairman Nripendra Mishra said in Ayodhya on Sunday,
All historical evidence will be preserved in the museum being built in the Ram temple complex, he added.
Based on these very evidences, the Supreme Court had given its verdict in favour of Ram Mandir, said Mishra
"All evidence found in the Archaeological Department's excavation is currently secured with the Supreme Court," he added.
Mishra also said now there is no one to challenge the verdict.
Curtains came down on the decades-long title dispute with the Constitution bench of the Supreme Court headed by the then Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, awarding 2.77 acres of land to the Hindu deity Ram Lalla Virajman for the construction of Ram Mandir on November 9, 2019. The Ram mandir issue helped revive the BJP's fortunes in the mid-1980s and has found a mention in every party's manifesto since 1991....
