GORAKHPUR, Aug. 3 -- Three youths, including two cousins, were killed after two motorcycles collided head-on near Semra Chandauli village on Maharajganj-Partawal road under the jurisdiction of Shyam Deurawa police station on Friday night, police said. Another youth injured in the mishap has been admitted to the Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College in Gorakhpur, where he is said to be battling for his life. According to police, the deceased were identified as Rajan, 22, and Anand, 24, cousins and residents of Mahant Avaidyanath Nagar ward in Partawal, and Tabarak, 25, a resident of Parsa Khurd village. All three died on the spot. The injured was identified as Armaan, 23. Shyam Deurwa SHO Abhishek Singh said the accident occurred around 11pm on Friday. Upon being informed, police personnel reached the site and sent the bodies for the post-mortem examination. As per initial reports, none of the victims were wearing helmets.
