PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 2 -- With the main Civil Lines roadways bus station all set to undergo a makeover at an estimated cost of Rs 320 crore, the state government has issued tenders for construction of three temporary bus stations for the convenience of passengers, said a roadways official in the know of things. These bus stations will come up near Vidya Vahini School, Parade Ground and Nehru Park. An enquiry centre, drinking water, toilets, lighting and seating arrangements will be made for passengers at these stations. Giving this information, regional manager, UP State Roadways Transport Corporation, Prayagraj region, Ravindra Kumar Singh a tender of Rs 48 lakh has been issued for setting a temporary bus station near Vidya Vahini School. Kumar said he had got permission for a fixed period from KP Trust running the temporary bus station near Vidyavahini School while the remaining two places were under the purview of the army.
